3 Things Every Woman Should Know About Vaginal Estrogen
-
It's not the same as systemic hormone therapy. Vaginal estrogen works locally meaning it does not raise your blood estrogen levels significantly. The black box warning? Gone.
-
You'll probably still need lube. Vaginal estrogen repairs tissue over time, but it's not instant and most women need both. Don't ditch the lube.
-
It's never too late, and it's rarely too early. If you are experiencing any discomfort it is important to talk to your doctor. Vaginal estrogen can help women in perimenopause and post menopause. Its job is to restore tissue and improve comfort.
If your doctor has prescribed vaginal estrogen and you have questions, or you want more information to bring to your next appointment — that's exactly what the free coaching call is for. Grab your spot →
