FAQ

Making it make sense.

01

What exactly is a menopause coach?

Think of me as the person whose job it is to make this transition actually make sense to you. Between the biological shifts and the big life changes happening all at once, most of us need a team to manage it all. My job is to see the full picture of your life, get you access to the resources you need, and walk alongside you as you navigate the things you really want to change. Menopause can become the launching pad for your best life, not a roadblock.

02

What makes you different?

The short answer? I’m the antidote to the "quick fix." As a pioneering menopause coach who has been leading this conversation since 2022, I deeply care about the integrity of your care. I’m a researcher and an educator who untangles women from the mass of misinformation. I also unapologetically cuss and have a deep sense of humor about how absurd this whole endeavor feels some days. No fluff, just evidence.

03

Why can’t I just Google or TikTok this?

Because the internet is a sea of siloed, confusing, and contradictory noise, usually intent on selling you something. Women, particularly during midlife, are preyed upon by this marketing machine. I help you wade through the bullshit so you stop wasting your time, energy, and money on solutions that don't work, and instead find lasting, meaningful care that will support you through this entire transition.

04

Shouldn't my doctor handle all of this?

In a perfect world? Yes. But in reality, most physicians get less than an hour of menopause training and have between 12 and 15 minutes to talk to you. A prepared patient gets better care. I make sure you walk into that office calm, clear, and confident about the next steps you want to take.

05

When should I hire a menopause or perimenopause coach?

You do not have to wait until the wheels completely fall off. In fact, the best time to hire a coach is the moment you start thinking to yourself, "I just don't feel like myself." Whether you're 38 and noticing subtle shifts in your mood and sleep, 45 and dealing with massive brain fog, or 60 and still struggling with symptoms that won't seem to go away, getting evidence-based support early means you don't have to suffer through decades of chaos before getting the help you need and deserve.

06

I think I'm in perimenopause, but my doctor says I'm too young. Can a coach help?

Absolutely. Medical gaslighting during this transition is incredibly common, simply because of the lack of physician training we talked about. As your coach, I help you track your symptoms and get really clear on identifying what evidence-based care actually looks and sounds like. I also give you the exact language to use so you can go back to your provider and ensure you're getting the kind of care that will actually help you feel better.

07

Do you work with women online, or do I need a menopause coach near me?

You do not have to be local to get fierce, evidence-based support. While my physical roots are in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, I work with women virtually across the country. As an online menopause coach, I can help you untangle the misinformation, build your personalized plan, and vet the right medical providers no matter where you live.

08

How much does a menopause coach cost?

Let's be real: the wellness industry makes billions selling women expensive "miracle" supplements that do nothing. My coaching is an investment in an evidence-based strategy that saves you from wasting time, energy, and money on the BS. Because menopause support should be accessible to everyone, I offer a wide range of ways we can work together—from free classes and low-barrier strategy sessions, all the way up to high-touch, long-term 1:1 life coaching. Exact pricing simply depends on the level of support you need right now. We figure out what that looks like on our free discovery call, so you get exactly the help you need without paying for what you don't.
